UPS
Application
- Grundfos small and medium UP circulator pumps are mainly used in small buildings like one or two family houses. These circulator pumps are specifically designed for heating systems, but also suitable for the circulation of domestic hot water or liquid in cooling and air-conditioning systems.
- Grundfos large UP circulator pumps are mainly used in large buildings, such as schools, hospitals, hotels.
- These circulator pumps are designed for the circulation of liquids in heating and air-conditioning systems.
- Large UP pumps with bronze pump housings are suitable for the circulation of domestic hot water.
Features
- Grundfos small, medium and large UP circulator pumps are of the canned-rotor type. Pump and motor form an integral unit without shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. the bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. The ports of small and medium UP pumps have flanges and threads, the ports of large UP pumps have flanges. Small, medium and large UP pumps are available as single-head and twin-head pump types.
